I supposse when the Ki-84 comes along be prepared to have yourself a Japanese  Army Air Force day in the MA.  Only thing you'll see will be  red meatballs covering the skies, of course by then HT will model the Super Dimensional Fortress Macross for me and all will be even, wouldn't it :D

I'm not so sure the -1C still needs to be perked.  It doesn't fly near as well as it used to after Pyro found the weight discrepency and fixed it.

Dinnae about the -84.. maybe it should be, maybe it shouldn't be.. time in the MA will tell.

CavemanJ,

The flight model was never the reason it was perked. ;)

I still think that it would be too dominant as a "do everything extremely well" aircraft.  It's not the best at everything, but it is dang good.  It just does too many roles too well.  Carrier fighter, carrier attack aircraft , ground attack, fighter and bomber destroyer.

If it was just limited to carriers I don't think it would need to be perked, but as it is...

Wow! Mitsu got mojo! This is almost certainly the first time I've seen an answer given to the perennial when question. WTG Mitsu and thanks Pyro.
