So, did you count the polls? Let's find out...1, 2, 3 (crunch), 3. Admit it, you misspoke. It's not that big of a deal really, unless you just can't admit you made a mistake.

Wait a second...Bush has a similar problem.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Isn't the Weekly Standard a republican paper?  If it even says Kerry did a pretty good job, then I would have to say Kerry won the debate.  The election is another story but we all can hope.

OK, I'll use slo-mo. You were attempting to belittle the Fox News quote saying the CNN/USA Today/ Gallup poll has more people. You failed to notice that there were 3 polls cited, not one. CBS, ABC and Kerry's internal. The ABC and Kerry polls did not list how many people were surveyed.
For some reason, you won't admit there were 3 polls. Like I said, it's no big deal. You just misspoke but instead of saying, "oops, you are right" and continuing with your thought...

If you people believe that polls are actually accurate and unbiased then the matirx really does have you..

CBS poll = Kerry Wins...

Fox poll = Bush wins...

ABC poll = stalemate

CNN poll = who knows wtf they are saying..  Both canidates win...

DoctorYo's personal poll...   Bush is a poor public speaker.. Kerry senses weakness and railroads him...(he was like Yale champion, go figure) especially in the begining; Bush later musters some steam and gets his points across in the end..

I found the debate humorous..  From the demanding extra time (Sorry Jim L. the rules you set didn't last too long..)  To the stuttering, to the talk of Iraq while talking about DPRK..  I had a laugh..

"Of course we went after Saddam eh eh       eh   Osama.... "  it was hysterical...

The begining of the debate when Kerry was ripping him, Bush had the http://www.MyPetGoat.com look on his face..  At least he is very consistent..

http://www.thememoryhole.org/911/bush-911.htm

ehe    eh      ehe duh    eh no bilateral talks ehe  heh   Kim Il   eh    No bilateral talks...

heres the debate transcripts without all the pauses and eh eh..  eh.. um eh...

DoctorYo

PS: both canidates suck(one tells you everything you want to hear and the other is not the sharpest tool in the shed..) but this is the lesser of two evils election  you decide in November..

Best part of the whole debate-
hearing Bush say over and over how it's important for a President to speak clearly.

now thats just good stuff.

Bush: "I am a good president..."

Kerry: "I am not Bush..."

Bush: "We're making the world safer..."

Kerry: "I served in Vietnam..."

It's the same rhetoic I've been hearing for the last six months. Who won? Hard to tell, really. Both of them spoke well, both of them sidestepped and both of them backpedaled. In the end, they ended up in the same place they started...

quote:Both CBS and ABC released quickie reaction polls. The CBS survey of 200 "fence sitters" showed 44 percent said Kerry won, 26 percent said Bush won and 30 percent said it was a tie. The ABC numbers were similar in that 45 percent gave the edge to Kerry while 36 chose Bush and 17 percent said it was a tie.

Stephanie Cutter, the Kerry campaign communications director, told FOX News that their internal flash polling showed Kerry's favorability going from 43 to 68 percent. The Kerry campaign usually doesn't release internal polls.

FOX News' political contributors largely agreed that Kerry came out ahead.

I saw the same thing about the flash poll.
Lets remember that this was an INTERNAL poll
So its not like you were gonna find a whole lot of anti Kerry people LOL

Been checking out the diffeent channels and most say Kerry won Debate. But they also are saying that while Kerry won the debate the same people polled thought Bush was the better leader.

So as I said in another thread. they thought Kerry had a better line of BS  but bush was the better man for Prez.

Before all the Kerry supporters get too far going on their Brewhaha remember the person that wins the first debate is often the person that looses the election
Death is no easy answer

Ask those who have been before you

And the numbers dont add up. If the polls were remotely accurate (3%), they would show a somewhat consistant ratio. However they actually differ greatly by 20-30% on some scales so Im inclined to think that they are prone to the the types of people who go to these places to take these polls. Take example Gallop poll has for weeks now shown Bush a was ahead of Kerry. After the debate last night, its polls reflected a 30/50 split. Msnbc showed a 30/70 split. They're inconsistant because of the types of samples that are being taken are subjective. Gallop pollsters tend to be more rep and cnn types tend to be more dems.
