Buff killing with Rockets in a 38
« on: October 02, 2004, 02:54:39 AM »
This film is more for SirPyro's contemplation. The argument was there was no way that 3 buff's could be killed in 1 pass by ANY aircraft, no matter what.

To summarize the video - 10 rockets are salvo'd into the formation.
* 1 Rocket strikes the right wing just at the engine nacel.
* The wing departs the lead LANC that is struck.
* The left drone is struck by FF MG and Cannon with a partial wing destruction and explodes when it leaves formation.
* The lead lanc explodes close to the remaining unhurt lanc on the right - and in turn destroy's that last remaining bomber.

Well they all died alright, but you can clearly see the damage being transferred to the other aircraft in formation.  Nice film, but the game finished them off for you and not the attack :)

Aside from that, it certainly is possible to 'properly' nail all three in one pass.
