Do you include every aircraft and vehicle, or a single unit only?

In the P-51 alone I counted 76 (rapid transition rate may have boogered the count a tad). I didn't change the head position at all, except in the z-axis (forward and back)

The question was how many forward views are there in aces high.
I am predicting that the answer will be
The number of aircraft in aces high + the positions of those aircraft + the movement positions. You can move yourself left and right, up and down of the nose by using the movement keys. I yave them mapped as
Page Up
Page Down
Home
End to move my forward view around the cockpit while facing forwards.
There has to be in excess of 100-200 forward positions in each aircraft if you count each one.

So I am guessing
35 + AG + FG + VP = V
AG = Aircraft gunners
FG = Fleet Gunners
VP = View Positions

That would be my guess

Pure straight forward and not counting zoom:

2

Default view and "forward" view.

I use both of these.  My default view is adjusted up in the seat for my special gunsight and moved forward so I can only see the minimum of instruments I need for dogfighting.  I have another key mapped to the "forward" view that gives me the same view, but adjusted back and down to give me a full view of the intrument panel.

If you guys are interested in my "adjusted" upwards sight, you can grab it on my web page.  http://users.andara.com/~sconrad/

If you hit F8, then scroll/Pan, the number of forward views is infinite.

"Infinite" is a bit high.  I'd say about half that many.
