I had no idea who the heck he was at the time though.

Was he doing your sister? :D  What would Ringo have in common with subjects to the queen like yourselves?

I spoke with:
Jackie Kennedy Onassisin and Christopher Reeves pre-accident at the Newport RI yacht center at different times, summer of 1990

I spoke with John Kerry and Teresa in front of their home on Beacon Hill Boston many times on Halloween, 1997-2001

Michel Dukakis at the Logan airport while waiting to check in.

Buddy Guy; blues guitarist, rode the elevator with him after a show in Albany NY.

BILL KREUTZMANN:  drummer for the Grateful dead, hung out with him after a show in Providence RI. When he was doing a side gig from the dead.

Just a few off the top of my head.

I remember you bringing this up in another thread.  So, did he look like Herman Munster in the flesh?

We provide access control to many of the mega wealthy that have homes in Miami, some famous others not so famous.  We provide services for events through an outfit called Event Stars.  The most recent event we participated in was crowd & access controls for the MTV VMA beach party.  You always rub shoulders with celebrities at these events.  At the end of the day they are people.  The most down to earth celebrities I have met are Bruce Willis and Luther Campbell (Luke Skywalker of 2 Live Crew).  My brushes with greatness occur daily in my walk with Jesus Christ.  All the rest is nonsense and insignificant.

I almost hooked up w/ one of the girls from the movie "cyote ugly" while DJing their wrap party.

My wife got hit on by kiefer sutherland so I almost had to beat the crap out of him ;)

I went to HS w/ Chris Clien (american pie)

I played basketball w/ George Clooney and Mark Whallberg on the set of 3 kings...I was Celebrating soldier #7 but my face never made it into the movie.

I wouldnt call any of those things of "greatness" but those or the most famous people I've ever met.

OH there was this time when I saw Emilio Esteves at the mall and I was like......EMILIO!!!!!!!.......and he was all like "yo what's up"

I had my hand up Heather Locklear's dress once.

I supplied  the sound support for her wedding to Tommy Lee and wired her up for the ceremony with a Lav mic, had to go under her dress and up her back with the wire....glad she couldn't read my mind.

Had a similar experience, without the evil thoughts, with Stewart Whitman once. While filming a pilot for a series on small local airports I wired him up by sticking my hand up the front of his shirt. Unfortunatly, a ring on hand caught a bit of chest hair, the guy is a gorilla, and yanked a few out. That was almost 20 years ago, he still jokingly brings it up whenever our paths cross these days.

Hmmm...I was going to ignore the sister comment but then my sister, who reads these boards, just called me.  She'd like me to say on her behalf:  "Piss off Ripsnort...I was about 8 years old at the time."

I used to see Henry Winkler every few days at my office in Santa Monica, also shared an elevator with Calista Flockhart.  I was in line behind Gary Coleman at a CompUSA when he was reconciling a bad check, that was interesting, and met a bunch of neat people from the Grateful Dead & friends as a kid.

When I was an infant, my family lived next to Ted Bundy.  My parents said he seemed like a nice guy.

Good one!

Spent hours with Tuskegee Airman Lt. Col Charles McGee in 1998 and again in 2001. 409 combat missions from WW2 to Vietnam...

I had dinner with Prince Andrew when he visited newport, RI in the 80's, much to the chagrin of the 70% + Irish folks living there at the time....

Kate Moss used to hang at PJ carney's, 7th Ave and W57th Street in NYC.

Met Ted Danson and Ted Turner in the 70's and 80's for Save the bay and America's cup yacht race events. My sister baby sat for Dennis Conner.

Met Jpe Pesci when I worked as an extra in "with honors" in the library...

Worked for Mayor Raymond Flynn in Boston, does he count? LOL

As Touring production manager / sound engineer for various artist - met alot of entertainment folks....

Met G.W at his campaign kickoff party in 2000 - and again at the "election night" party in Austin. Yes - the on where no results were known...lol

Letterman,Paul Shafer. Conan O'Brien..funnest thing though was watching the Letterman show we taped ealier that day with the two Stagehands and the girls that do the "will it sink or float" segment at the bar next to the Ed Sullivan theatre.

Met Leno at a gas station in Burbank - he was filling up one of his hot rods.

Spent 3 floors in an elevator with Little Richard in the Hyatt on Sunset late at night after a show. The guy really creeped me out - he had on these purple velvet pants with matching shoes - no shirt on and he smelled like baby powder. The was also this young Asian dude with him. Must've ben his after show party...

Same night - Weird Al Yankovik came out to the show at House of Blues. He had two hot hussies with him...I was floored...

Smoke some with Willie and his boys...

Met Johnny Cash in Nashville...greatest man ever.

Hung out with Counting Crows and Rob Thomas and the drummer Paul from matchbox 20 at the Green Room in Dallas  - I was so hammered I asked Adam Duritz if his dreds were extensions.
Ended up Mr. Thomas' girl at the time was from San Antonio and he was trying to hook me up with her friend. I turned down a job from these guys....lol kicking myself now. I didn't know anything about them then - I had only heard the song "push" i believe is the title.

More an more down the list....lol
