Eva Cassidy?

I know it sounds gay, but this woman sang this song so well it brought tears to my eyes ( she died from cancer if I recall)

Anyway, just great a great performance.

I like the reggae version  of  "Somewhere, over the rainbow" used in the episode of "ER" where Dr. Green dies. Not sure who did it . Was cool to hear it with minimal instrumentation.

Unplugged :D

She's got a version of Sting's "Fields of Gold" that'll do the same thing.    She's got such a beautiful, clear voice.    First time I ever heard her sing was after she was already gone.    I think most if not all of her CDs were released after she passed.

Probably Isreal Kamakawiwo'ole. He does it on a uke and mixes it with "It's a Wonerful World"
