Skuzzy, Vox Probs Weird?

Okay.

I have several games in which I can hear other people through voice.

Here in AH2, its different.

I can send my voice clearly, but, when someone talks:

-I don't hear them OR
-I"ll hear them say a word or two, and then it will stop, as if they stopped talking, but obviously they aren't (tested sentences and such) but it says they're still transmitting.

I have tried EVERYTHING, sound tests were successful, I could hear my voice in tests, etc. What should I do?

What type of Internet connection do you have?
Are you behind a firewall?
Are you running anti-virus software?

Slightly related question, if a person hits a transmit key and just keeps talking for a length of time, say 30 to 40 seconds, will he transmit the whole time or is your transmit time limited to say 5 to 10 seconds? Is it connection / bandwidth related?
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

I have a cable connection here at school. My ping is usually in the low 40's.

I was behind a firewall (prevented online games, P2P, etc). Then they opened some ports I believe because now I'm able to play any online game.

I am running Norton's Anti-Virus 2002 updated.

I've had this setup before and it worked.
