I fly mostly as a fighter, not an atttacker, in fact this month I have not flown a single sortie as an attacker (no bomber sorties either).

I do occasionally take out gvs, and shoot buildings and ack.

I know that the gvs' don't count in my kills, and I have no problem with that.

What I want to know is do all shots at gvs, buildings and ack, including hits, count as misses when flying as a fighter?

I am just trying to figure out why my hit percentage is so low.

Maybe it's because I can't shoot??

Yes they count as misses.

Yea, any bullet that doesn't hit an enemy plane counts as a miss in fighter mode.

Dont feel bad. I dump all MG rounds in the 190A5 every flight. 110C4 (rear and about 2500 MG forward), 110G2 (rear), Mosquito (1500 .303s dumped), and other rides. My hit % sucks.
