A tad more respect for Lucas.

I bought the Starwars 4, 5 an 6 DVD set, and I have to say wow, they look fantastic.

Good buy.

I do not mind the changes he made so much and now the green dude does not shoot first, it is still not as good as it was when Han shot first but it is better then Lucas's last try.

The 4th DVD that has info on how the movies were made was very interesting. I did not realise how hard a time Lucas had making these movies.

same feelings here.

gto, did you see the changes in the end of jedi where anakin is young as opposed to be old as a "force ghost"????  Kinda interesting to see them tying it all in.

I wonder if their will be a 7, 8, and 9?
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.

I fell assleep before the end of Jedi then loaned it to a budy.

I am not sure that Change will be bad.

Not nearly as bad as the Guido shoots first thing

I am torn on him doing a 7, 8 and 9. I think it could be cool, but Hamel, Fisher and Ford are all way to old now to play Luke, Lea and Han.

Recasting is always a hard thing to do.

If done well it could rock. I like the Timothy Zahn books on the years after Jedi.

I did not realise how much Lucas risked to bring us these movies. Especialy Empire.  I have a greater respect for the man now. Still not happy with the current movies but he did do some impressive stuff with the first ones.

BTW, the green dude's name is Greedo.

WHA??

You can bring them back. Look what studio's do with make-up these days.

Sure, the story would have to pick up 10 years after jedi, but I can see it.

Ya, I can see it now:

Episode 7: Han and Chewie's Xcellent Adventure
Episode 8: Leia Does Dagobah
Episode 9: When Luke Met Thrawn: A Love Story

All three going straight to video, sponsored by Disney, with Hillary Duff as Leia and somehow featuring the Olsen Twins.

I know, that was the joke...not a very good one though.

I used to love SW, but the love affair fizzled with Episode 1.

Any move that makes a 10 year old the hero automatically sucks arnold.

Attack of the clones was good, but only Jedi good, not Empire good.
