Is it just Me?
I have come to a point where I really do not care who is elected. It could be Pat Paulson (remember him). Though I am a Republican, I think is has just gone over the top. I can’t find anything on TV but this crap. I go to work and hear it. I hear from my kids, the wife, my friends even the daXX dog is at it.
I am so put off by all this nonsense that for the first time in my life found myself thinking of NOT voting. Bush-Kerry, Kerry-Bush, Kush-Berry, Berry-Kush and on and on and on and on it goes.
My background. I am a 22-year Air Force veteran, disabled (not a war wound, someone dropped an aircraft generator on me.), was in a war (Gulf I), lived all over the world, Watched one president do nothing with the military, watched another build it up, then another give it pride, a forth cut it to nothing. I have no real VA benefits (it’s ok I have a great job), but I do get free drugs!
As for me, I want is someone to tell me why I should vote. Not for who, just why? I know all about my rights to vote, I defended those right for 22 years and know that “not voting” is also a right. So don’t lecture on my responsibilities, I live them every day. I now serve with the Department of Homeland Security. Over 26 years serving this country.

JUST GIVE ME A REASON

If you don't think one is preferable to the other at this point, no one can change your mind.  It's OK not to vote.

You don't have to feel passionate.  You aren't getting married.  You're hiring someone to lead the country for 4 years.

Yes but I dont want to go in there feeling like an bellybutton and voting only out of negative feelings or distrust for one of the candidates.

Then pick the issues that are most important to you, find the candidate that most closely addresses those issues, then vote for him.

It's natural human reaction to push back when pushed, something the vote nazis should learn. George Carlin did a good bit on why he doesn't vote, wish I could find it on the web.

I agree with Phaser11 about just being fed up with everything that has too do with this election.I have heard nothing positive from either canidate and im just sick of it all. But I have too say that I am suprised by the relative lack of commercials I have been bombarded with this year, mabye its just me but I hardly see any.

Don't vote.  That is your right, just as much as it is your responsability to vote.  You hurt no one but yourself by not voting; one vote either way won't matter, but to you as an individual, if you don't vote, and continue to engage in political discourse, you are a hypocrite.

Interesting to view four candidates converse regarding platforms in a succinct manner.

Dude, wake up and smell the coffee
do you really want 2 trial lawyers running this country?
 2 Rich trial lawyers?
they made their money lying and pursuing their own agendas
never mind Kerry is in Ted Kennedy's back pocket.
Kerry should be on trial for treason, and Ted for murder
 :lol
