Getting out alive.....

Hi all,

I have a problem after landing my bird on my airbase and getting out alive(ie no bails or ditches). I land, stop the a/c, turn off the engine, then bring up the clipboard, and select 'Tower' and it comes up with text saying 'you have successfully landed' and shoots me over to the tower. Kewl I think, but then I have a look at my score, and I having another bail?

Can you guy explain when I have stop and kill the engine, where I need to be on the airbase and how to exit the a/c correctly as I'm getting alittle pissed here. I have even jumped in an a/c driven down the runway and stopped on it, killed the motor, waited another 30 seconds to be sure, check that I'm actually on the airbase proper etc, selescted tower, and got the success landed and still get a bail?!?!

Sounds odd. You should be on the runway with engine stopped. The type ".ef" without the quotes in the radio buffer to 'end flight'.

There is some small bug still with exiting the aircraft.  Some people are still unable to exit the aircraft without bailing out no matter where they land.  And I still notice from time to time the host will give me a ditched when I exit the airplane on the RW or Hanger.

Either command the .ef or the tower button on the knee board should work for exiting the aircraft.  Just one of those minor bugs that needs tweeking.

btw the .ef was also giving bails etc, I read that this might be a little more common, and might be fixed in next patch.
