The Border Patrol will take anyone who is 18 and breathing.   Since they don't require you to know how to write or think independently, it may be the perfect job for you!

They will not give you a sniper rifle, but you would have plenty of opportunities to listen to more AM talk radio and lose yourself in violent fantasies as you stand around in the desert or in front of an endless line of idling 18-wheelers.

  Your views of the Border Patrol are way less than accurate.
  Here in Texas The Border Patrol consist of some of the best of the best. Watching idling 18 wheelers and "standing around" in the desert is not on the menu.

I've spent enough time at the INS Firearms Training Center at Altoona to know that these individuals are very well trained and well educated. The Chief Firearms Instructor is a former SEAL.
