Terrorist know that a vote for Kerry means weakness and open doors to accomplishing their objectives....sure, Kerry looks and speaks better on TV, but on a day to day basis, he lacks the
stomach to do what is necessary to realize success in this war on terror and to support Afghans and Iraqi's in a quest to bring a better system of government to those countries.

Then you can make a conclusion that we want Bush to stay so the attacks will continue.

Russia isn't interested in any change of situation in Iraq. Withdrawing occupation troops will blow up the whole region. Presence of occupation force ensures attacks on oil industry and helps keeping oil prices high.

I don't want to discuss moral side of this policy, but at least Putin is frank and pretends to take care of Russian interests...
