id say about 5+ hours i spent like 5hours on a skins and got a virus it looked Good like my other skin looked like watermelon but then used PSP8 and WOW so nice

Only 5 hours?  it wouldve taken me at least an hour for the camo, 2-3 hours on the weathering alone!  Thats not including panel lines, rivets, and other things.

u do know there is a layer were u can pick a color and go over the Lines and u get a good set well some times they look like watermelon lot funer makeing them though

You make layers for them.  I usually end up with around 20 layers for a completed bitmap.

Panel Lines
Panel Lines shadow
Black rivets
White rivets
One color Camo
Another color Camo
Markings on the fuselage
Markings on the Wing
Scratches
Weathering
Dirt
Exhaust smoke
Oil smudges
Squadron Markings
and a few I cant name off the top of my head.

But to apply such an hard weatherring I won't have choosen a squadron leader plane

  Looking through a book I have, a lot of the paint chips and scrathces seem to be acutate (mainly based off an image of ground crew allover a tempest wing... reloading ammo etc.)
lots of scratches froom walking around and general maintnace.
Lets say this version is near the end off its run with beamont who would get his new plane soo. . .     lol . .  something like that. . . . let me know if my BS is working

 The cardoor version ,,,, yes  you are right,,, it was the early version before the bubble canopy,, that had this paint job.. and like you said  some one else got away with it also,  and there is no version of the early Tyff with the cage canopy with the car door.
so hope that is cool with every one, ,
  But did he have a bubble canopy Tyff ,, with this kind of paint job before he moved onto flying a tempest?

whats the difference between the group leader and suadron leader marking.. . . not clear on this, , ,   the default Tyff skin has this Triangle colour badge, ,   and the version im making has a full rectangle badge..?  is this it?

 The problem is that this badge on the default skin is a extra piece of geometry, , , and its in that shape ,,  so havent got there yet but I can see that being  a problem,, ,  can't fit a rectangle into a triangle hole.. .  ..   hmmmmmm   haven't tried since I was 3.

 What do you mean by fish plate panel lines?   The  main hull of the texture is not finished yet, , , so not all panel lines etc.. are not there yet, , ,   but  what are the fish plate?

the fish plates are on the tail of the plane , just in front of the elevator :

  I have a question, , ,  Should I put Rivets in.... or not ,, ,  I kinda think they are a bit to busy   on some of the models, , , , The tyffy model is really low poly, , , so there is alot of stretching on the hull as well,. , , , may make the rivits look bad.

Yah the body isn't done. . .

As for the weathering, , ,  Its there because it looks better...
and in game since you usaualy only see the fighters really small on your screen..... you will never notice any small minute scratches... . . Its an exageration,,, some what.
---I'v actualy looked at photo for reference.

  Anyway after flying the same tyff for an hour or two, rearming 2 or 3 times, , ,   and flying through Rook brains chunks and Nit intestines, ,  the air, , ,,  I can see how dirty a plane can get.

The New Tyffie Gunsu Porp, it dices it slices, but it dosn't clean well
(disclaimer; may need to tenderize rooks and nits first, with 4 20mm Hispanos)

Your skin of the typhy looks to be the most realistic thus far.

I'd like to use your skin, but if I can't get it by this weekend, I'll most likely use Kev's skin.  His is great too, but I'll have to touch it up, due to some small glitches that i've noticed.  Or you can email me what you have so far.  That'd be great..full res please.
