I'd really like to get more into the CT, but there're hardly enough on to make it fun. It also feels like a closed clique sometimes. A squaddie and I logged on, being journeymen mid range players. We ended up engaging somebody 2 on 1, cause no one else around. This player was good enough that 2v1 was a fairly even fight, but in the end we got him.

Next thing I know, he complains on common channel and the other 2 online, previously elsehwere on the map,  switch to his team. We then have 2 newbs against 3 experienced CT'ers. I said somehting on common, asking for a balancer, but we were left alone. Upped once, died  -- and so we logged.

Came back a couple hours later and the 3 guys had captured the entire map jsut for the heck of it.

And this is supposed to be better than the MA?

43:41:10 so far this tour. Last month I logged 91:14:24 compared to 110:21:26 a year ago.

I'm on track for @ 100hours, which is about what I did last year, and a bit less than the year before that.

YOU have changed, the gameplay is roughly what it has been for several years.

With growth in skill/experience, your perception of the game has changed, as opposed to the game itself.  I can hardly see any diff. at all (with the except. of AH2, and the ENY thing of course) between now, and when I started in '02.

Typical is this...

1) Log onto Aces High

3) Log off.

I wonder what would happen to gameplay if HT removed score for a few months.

Are people like us really that rare? I just dont't have the time to be on alert at CT in case someone shows up...

I don't think it's a time zone issue either? Why on earth people won't come to the CT?

16 hours this month and about a third of that used by my nephew who is living here while he attends college nearby.

I probably have another 5 or 6 in the TA doing the trainer thing.

I've been very busy recently and AH2 time is the one thing that's expendable.

I was in the CT a couple weeks ago, and had fun dueling some dude in an A20 with a 190. But kept gettin cherried by some other butt-in-head, but didn't whine or ask for help. Aint been back since, but only cause my squadies "Dirty Fokkers" only operate in the MA for now !
