AH2 video drivers
« on: October 18, 2004, 02:46:03 PM »
I've been occupied with real life for five months, so forgive me if these questions are answered elsewhere.  I know Skuzzy always had a suggested video driver for AH1; is there a suggested one for AH2 also?

GF4ti4200  (dxdiag says driver version is 6.14.0010.5216)
Athlon 2200+
Asus a7n8x deluxe
512mb pc2700

I would avoid the 5x.xx series of NVidia drivers.  The newer ones seem to be fine.  If you are running a 5000 series, or later video card from NVidia, you definately should be using the newer 6x.xx drivers.
The 5x.xx series had a lot of problems.

So, I've been eyeballin the GeForce 5200FX nVidia that's on sale for $40, after $20 rebate. With the 6x.xx drivers, this should let me play AH2, even though I have only a PIII 866 MHz CPU?
