Still messing around..

..with the terrain editor.  Tried a map with more of an operational scale, instead of a theater scale.  Figured this one will go well with the new tank :p Sorry about the cheesy clipboard map, I'm just not that good with the artwork like the master map makers.

Also does the CT staff accept map submissions, so they can check them out for CT feasability or do I just submit them to HTC??

That looks awsome Bug, good job. I have the greatest respect for anyone that can decifer that abominable TE program. I studied Geography and took several Cartography classes, so I know how to make maps, I just cant figure out that damn Terrain Editor.

Bug you can send it to me and I will help you iron out any "bugs" that may have popped into it. :rofl Also I can pass it along to Dux on the Terrain Team and get his input.

As it looks now that clipboard is a pretty sweet looking part. So the map should be just as good.

Thanks Stream.

I still have plans to help get TfT of the ground, just was kinda waiting for the new CT staff to get their feet wet and feel out which ones would be willing to help out. So far Slash27 seems to be into it but figured one may not cut.  Also once they have more staff and a chairman I was hoping we could get maybe a 3 week lead time on the setups, to help facilitate planning.

So I hopped onto maps for the time being, cause I felt they were needed.  It also helps keep me out of trouble.

Skull the Crimea is a pretty big place and would fit perfectly in my mind for a LW vs VVS setup with a moving front line so to speak.

It is a 256x256 map too, so it will be closer quarters than BoB and The Slot  which I believe are both 512x512.  Being 256x256 also I can make it a two sided map by hiding some bases "off" the map, so it should keep people from resetting by accident.
I can also hide the HQs .
