Bush will throw out the first pitch of the first game in Houston if Houston advances...Kerry in Boston for the first game played in Boston.  Just a guess..

I was at the Tiki Room on Landsdowne. My god. Ground Zero. At the end of the 7th inning we saw about 200 riot police marching down the street in preperation.

Mostly people just euforic with joy, climbing lightposts and stuff. apparently across the pike in kenmore sq. it got a little outta hand but no serious injuries and no one arrested. btw, it wasn't the fans that were out of control really. i mean it was nutty but it wasn't crazy enough to warrent shooting into a crowd, which is what the officer did.

there was one part where the police were telling the people who had climbed onto the roof of the cask and flagon to get down, and then while they were climbing down they shot them. one kid fell after getting hit in the back right in front of us.

i think the special operations guys were a little trigger happy.
