West Virginia Toss Up?
« on: October 26, 2004, 09:50:59 PM »
Very Interested in the Outcome of West Virginia on Election Day, I was kind of weirded out the other day when I was heading to work, I crossed the parking lot and saw a bumper sticker on a Coworkers car,

West Virginians, 70 years under Democratic Rule...
What has it done for you?

The Owner of the car, A Nurse. I was well aware of his political stance before I saw the bumper sticker though. It got me thinking, Will West Virginia be a key player in the Election?

It seems like it really is closer than the media describes, On MSNBC the Map they display says WV is leaning Bush, I don't know though. Everybody in my department, Except for two Unregistered and my boss, is voting Kerry.

I think the editorial while pretty demeaning to the state, has summed it up, People are feeling the economy, at least in Central West Virginia. And when it comes to National Security, A lot of people are worried, Everyone in my department, 10 of us, Personally know some one, or have a family member overseas, more of the latter. We have a huge contingent of Veterans, Seniors, Employed and Un-employed.

I think a lot of people will be suprised on the outcome here, No matter which way it swings.

We have maybe two or three WVirginians in the community, Verm whats your take?

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I think even California may be close. Lots of Dem states are going to swing Bush imo.

People are not stupid. Bush is seen as a person who will do what he says while Kerry is seen as someone willing to say anything to get a vote.

Bush is a proven leader who carried this nation through 911 while Kerry is seen as the Senator sitting on his arse for 20 years  then complaining and blaming Bush for just about everything under the sun.

Why would anyone want to change horses mid stream when we have a proven horse? What could Kerry possibly do to improve ONE thing in America today? Maybe get the French to lick his arse?

Americans are going to chose Bush, BIG.

The only reason Kerry is even on the radar is because almost all US media is a Kerry campaign outlet.

Can some Kerry supporter explain why Kerry is a good choice for anything at all?
