Kerry gone scarey?

EU, led by france is challenging the United States on terms that are not friendly.  I am now sadly of the opinion that europe should have been left alone to deal with Hitler just like europe wanted to leave the iraqis alone deal with saddam (at precisely the same time when leaders of europe were dealing personally with hussein to keep him in power, in spite of the eurocentric united nations attempting to force hussein into compliance with 17 united nation resolutions).  You people (europeans) are as corrupt a people as exists on this earth.

I am reminded yet again why the United States was founded.

It's true, Americans do love guns because they have small peepees.

Mine went from the size up to a vienna sausage after I went to the range, it's like magic.

LOL this was just a below the belt jab aimed at Lazs after his overused 'woman' insult... Don't tell me that you were feeling targeted!

I do like (not love) guns actually. I think I'm decent with them. Never experienced the growing organ...but some shrinkage during stressful exercises I must confess.

And I wouldn't wander through Alaska without a heavy caliber rifle and wheelgun (isn't it required by the law btw?) My next trip in the States would be drive from Northern California through Canada up to Alaska during the summer. I've always wanted to have a taste of the Big North.

About the friend part...I still love America, its generous and full of life people, and its ideals towards democracy.  I felt hurt in my flesh by the attacks in the WTC and the Pentagon. I can still accurately remember what I did this fateful day. The next day the belgian newspapers were claiming 'We are all americans'. Our support for the war in Afghanistan was almost complete (there are nutjobs everywhere). In less than a year, GWB ruined this support to chase a personal and obscure agenda.

I despise your administration for what it did in Iraq but also for turning some of you into no-thinkers. IMO your media s are partially to blame: after 9/11, your journalists were caught into the understandable patriotic wave washing over the country and stopped to question your government decisions.  This is what allowed the Iraq invasion to happen*. This why some people like Yeager, spoon-fed with WMD tales, were cut off from the rest of the world like an afghan living under the Talibans.  Bush used the natural fear of the alien, of the unknown and did his best to promote the ignorance.

There is hope. Since Abu-Ghraïb, the medias are again playing their role (too late for the war though). They're really trying to make up for their sin (I've heard that the Financial Times is supporting Kerry...quite surprising isn'tit?). I don't think that Kerry would be a great president. If he had the potential, the election results would already be written. But he certainly can't be any worse than GWB. And I do hope that the whole USA will one day  realize how much of a catastrophe he was to your country and to your spirit.

*and please...I know that Saddam was baaaaaad. I certainly don't want him back. He certainly deserves death like any mass muderer. And if euro businessmen or politicians made a wealth by cheating the UN oil embargo, they deserve to go to jail. But Iraq is still as far away from a democracy as before while its doors are now wide open to fundamentalist islam.

Perhaps your health care system could provide you with some Viagra...

Thanks for your response deSelys, you have restored some of my faith in our European cousins. I am still disturbed though, by some of the utter vitriol I see spouted here, but hopefully this will all pass. I can hope can't I?
