It's a good movie. Far better than "Training Day", IMHO.

I liked it, could earn him another Oscar.

Sunking the ending had to do with being forgiven for his sins.  the bible says the greatest gift a man can give is the gift of his own life for anothers.

In the begining he asked if God will forgive them for what they've done in the past.  They both thought no.  He was reading the bible again through most of the movie.  I like how that was a so subtley tied together.

Anyhow, training days was good.  Usually I don't like densel because he's typecast as an angry typical black man that's been wronged somehow.

Walken and Denzel in the same movie? Two fine actors! I must see this one.

Nash, I hear you are a graphics artist. Is that your livelihood? Do you have a link to your work?

I liked it. Only problem I had was the MTV quick edit thing. I hate that. Also the semi-happy ending seemed contrived.

I liked it as well, but am with MT on how it was shot and edited, it was like a long music video at points.

The movie was too generic and the scenes were too choppy.  I had to check and make sure that the guy that directed "get carter" didn't direct this film too.  Fortunately, even the worst acting in this one blew away the best acting in Get Carter.  Bad editing and directing made bareable by good acting.

Walken was awesome, as usual, but its becoming typical Walken.  He's one of the original characters in Hollywood, but he's exactly the same in every role.  It's just that he seems to be cast perfectly every time.
