Well, I thought it is an official American policy - to doubt the results of the elections if they don't like the results. Successfull in Yugoslavia, Georgia etc, doesn't work in Belorussia so far...

Your government compromises the idea of "democracy" (that you worship irrationaly like some pagan god) by it's beautifull policy of double-standards. Now you get the result: if it's possible in Yugoslavia with it's 1000 years of culture - then it can be practiced in the US, can't it?

Not meaning to offend anyone's religious beliefs, just an observation...

Boroda, no one has claimed our political system was perfect, but it beats the hell out of anything else that has come down th pike in .....a while. Our Democratic Republic, to be exact, at least contained within its framework the wherewithal to produce a pretty great country, and see to the demise of the Communist State.:p

Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.
