Pyro,

Your players are rabid raving looneys waiting for a patch... I'm sure 90% of us don't consider a feature upgrade a disruption.

I think Pyro means disruption in terms of the overwhelming traffic it will produce.  They have to call ahead to the server operators and let them know of the huge amount of bandwidth needed.

It'd be no disruption here.:D

Out of curiosity, what kind of disruption were you refering to?

Tuesday is election day, and given the number of people who seem to think that the AH text buffer is their personal soapbox to spout simple minded drivel at a captive audience I imagine that many of us are going to be very, very busy with the squelching as we try to have fun with the new version.

Disruptive bug?

If we have found critical bug or crash on initial 2.01, but they can't fix it till monday because they're off from office.

To everyone who is asking HTC to work on the weekends: I would like to ask how many of you like to work on your days off?

I'm sure some folks there at HTC have other plans for Halloween besides maintaining a watch on a major patch to see if it blows up under full load.

I predict Monday for the release - cuz Tuesday will likely be a very weird day. Not just higher net traffic, but I would also expect a sharp rise in hack attempts to ... uh ... get the word out to vote for one cadidate or the other. So parts of the backbone may flake out.
