I don't know who I talk to about this but it is the first time it's happened to me... I wasn't awarded a kill... that I know I got...
It's just for my peice of mind..

I have the flight film too...

I am just bringing it to someones attention, it might be happening to other people...

Did you see him crash?

Could be he ditched it even with the wing tip missing. Let me check the raw logs.

I will guess he managed to stay up (about 1 1/2 min) and and crashed a ways away from you. Could since the raw logs do not count it as a kill, the CM logs would not either.

I suppose in "real life" it would have been a "probable".

I do show him crashing later.... when he extented... I got in his plane and flew with him in the film viewer.
So what your saying is if he doesn't go down in like a minute after you do damage to him, it doesn't count as a kill? Don't get me wrong, I am just trying to understand this, not trying to throw a wrench into the works...This just might influence my flying a little bit...

Last night I ripped up a B26! When I left he seemed to had no control surfaces and both engines smoking. I got no kill.

But its OK, for I know I killed most of the crew!!! Let the bomber fly back to its base and let other see the death and carnage!!

What looks like happened is this.

You and Stega tangled and you shot of a good chunk of his wing at 23:16:19 (last recorded damage in logs). He started going down but was able to hold it and control it for almost 2 minutes (crashes 23:18:16).

However, you then got jumped by another Ki84 and got shot up so badly you bailed from your dying plane (DmbGibs Kill Awarded at 23:17:18).

Now note that the logs don't record when you bail but the fact when you recieve your bail successfully message from the server. Meaning when you touch down on the ground and exit. However, since you took battle damage as soon as your started your bail the server sent a kill message and credited DmbGibs.

So what seems to me happened is that you initiated your bail before Stega crashed. Since you were out of your plane and a kill was credited to DmbGibs .. the server did not credit you with the kill for Stega's crash and registered Stega as a crash and not kill rewarded.

Swager in your case basically you got your kill taken by another:

Seems you and Vlkyrie ripped up one of Mocks B26s and then Bubbi put enough lead into it to get credited with a kill while you guys got assist credits.

Mock lost 2 B26s to enemy fire; Mock made it home and landed the 3rd B26.

Nothing to be sorry about Stream. It was a valid question and until I went and dug into the CM logs didn't find the answer. All came down to about 30 secs of action.

Was interesting to see the time marks and too see how fast fighting happens.
