Who needs the .45?  I heard a guy saying yesterday that you can kill planes on the runway just by walking into them!  Maybe the pilot figure needs to be configured like in Mortal Kombat, with the ability to jump kick, karate chop, etc.  Then he'd really be able to take out the troops bare-handed!

Actually, the pilot in the chute just has to spit in the general direction or the Dora to take out the radiator :D

Good idea as long as it's unmodeled x km from a friendly base...

can you imagine the hordes of La7 guys bailing out over a base under siege after the drunks are dropped?

You find the chute of the guy who collided with you in an ill conceived HO and kill him on the ground.

or

faced, with no ammo, all the JB's bail out of their planes to kill troops runnin at the town we're defending.

If a .45 pistol had a 10-foot barrel, I couldn't hit a target 12 feet away with it.

Well damn, man, NOBODY could properly aim a colt .45 with a 10-foot barrel!

I dont think the bail-out guy should be able to fire his colt when hanging on the chute, only when he has landed he'll be able to aim. How about that?

No reason you cant fire a pistol while hanging in a chute, a *long gun* is another story though.

I should re-write my statement, I meant he shouldn't be able to aim it downwards, though he should be able to fire :)
