from Pyro's news
Changed the level bombsight calibration mode. It is no longer necessary to set your target altitude via the clipboard or to mark a target to perform the speed calibration. Calibration instructions are provided from the bombadier position. Steady speed and altitude are still necessary to perform an accurate calibration and longer calibration times result in better overall accuracy.

Airframe overstress/structural limits now work again.

Could this spell the end of the dive bombing heavy bombers? I guess we shall hope and wait and see.

Still won't stop the 50ft-off-the-deck weenies.

I like the 50 ft off the deck weenies - more big fat targets!

No I dont think it will stop low alt runs or dive bombing.   I we will in the coming months see more bombers upping and more squads doing bomb runs.

Plenty of organised bomb runs will likely be more traditional mid-high alt bombing raids.    It will be easier to get people interested in making a run.

I am hoping it ends up being a overall improvement to game play and adds to the fun of the game.

Dive bombing still possible, just tested it. If you watch speed, no problem...

Also loops are possible with B24, which is...mhmm.... "gamey"?

I dont know,  in a video game,  we are more likey to attempt something that in RL would be too dangerous to consider.   Im guessing you tried it,  but I would bet if you ever got the chance in RL to fly a B24,  you wounldnt even consider trying it.    If your wrong you crash the plane and your dead.   In the game,  its just a return to the tower.

Could a B24 make a loop?   I dont know,  but I dont know if anyone was stupid enough to test it.

So, I guess trying to loop it is "gamey" and wether or not it could isnt really that gamey.

All you need is enough speed that you could perhaps get in a dive and a strong enough airframe and you loop.
