POLL: Clear winner by Nov 3rd?
« Reply #30 on: November 01, 2004, 11:56:41 AM »
I still think after looking at the individual state polls that it WILL be a clear victory for Bush.

The overall poll I think is misleading because as we all know the election is not won by popular vote.
I have been reborn a new man!

Notice I never said a better man.

I think there will be a clear winner. The 500 vote difference in Florida in 2000 was a fluke.

Just the opposite Gixer.  It shows how important each individual's vote can be.

Or just the opposite Stringer. It shows just how important some votes are while others don't count.

Or so that the Lawyers can step in and say x amount of votes are invalid because the hole isn't completely punched through.

You mean that whole "divine the voter's intent" BS?

You have your take, and I have mine.

Your perspective is from the outside, and mine is from the perspective as a participant.

Which lawfully and properly cast ballots didn't count, Gixer?

Being too stupid to actually cast the vote properly, or too lazy to take the time to read the ballot doesn't count as a lawful vote.

Not sure I wasn't personally verifying them, but I keep on hearing about how unhappy a million or so Black Americans were/are over the last election.

why is it that you think black peoples votes didn't count?  cause they lost?   If the democrats lose blacks will be unhappy and that is all there is too it.

It could be a landslide bigger than Dukaksis, and the Dems will cry foul and hold their breath, and fall to the floor crying and kicking and screaming.........

I never said  that I don't think black peoples votes didn't count. I said how I keep on hearing about how unhappy a few of them were over the last election.

a million or so is a "few"?    What exactly did you hear?   Why didn't their votes count?
