Anyone try flying this thing?

Whats the secret to being able to control is taxiing???

I'm sure you've already used shift-return to raise your seat hight so that you can actually see where your going.

Tri Star is like all the other tail draggers you just have to be very gentle with the controls when trying to taxi,take off,land. Also keep in mind the delay in response otherwise you'll find yourself over correcting all the time.

Just takes practice but the Tri Star along with lots of other great aircraft make for a nice break from the heavy iron. Plus it's very rewarding especially when attempting long flights with realistic weather.

It's been awhile since I flew it, but I think you need to use the brakes while taxing (like most taildraggers)

The plane is too sensitive to wind when taxiing. Get replacement flight model from somewhere, or install FSUIPC if you dont have it, and enable taxi wind control.
