Edwards: we will fight for every vote
« on: November 03, 2004, 01:31:56 AM »
Let's see what this means. It was a VERY SHORT statement. The crowd has gotten quiet, and is dispersing. They are willing to wait another night. Let's see if they are willing to drag out the lawyers.

Man, are we news junkies or what?
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

It makes no difference.  The Democrats will go the way of the Whigs and Federalists soon enough.  We're just witnessing the final death throws - theyre done.

This election is a big wakeup call for the Liberals... a big, full bodied, resounding wake up call of a sign that says; "We hate you more than you hate Bush."

The total implosion is close.  All of those who were unhappy with the two party system should be happy shortly.

I'm not.

I am saying that the far left liberal position just isn't going to make it.

My position on this election all along has been that Kerry had too many character issues, and he and Edwards were both FAR too liberal to get enough of the center to get elected. I still hold that position.

Strangely enough, I could have entertained voting for a Lieberman led ticket.

I have issues with Bush, and issues with the Republicans.

I think the nation itself has issues. I think the voters are just too damned lazy to know what is going on, and too damned lazy to demand more from their elected representatives.

Edwards lost his seat and now needs a new job. Especially since he basically promised the Carolinas to Kerry and was soundly smacked there by the Bush campaign. But its tough to get into areas where manufacturing jobs have shifted to from the northern US in recent years. Not with US based companies but with companies like BMW, Mercedes, Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, Ogihara...bascially large overseas automobile builders have moved engine plants and car plants into Alabama, South and North Carolina so its tough for the Democrats to gain a huge foothold here.

Left Wing = Left Out

Agreed on left wing politics going the way of the dinosaur...

The Democrats missed the message.  "LEAVE THE EXTREME LIBERALS HOME!"    With a moderate Dem, Bush loses.

The demise of Daschle (first failure of its kind in 50 years) is further proof that Liberal = Liability.

Congress was also moved to the right.....TAKE NOTE.

Keep bringing Massachusetts Liberals and we won't have anothe Dem President in my lifetime.
