just a note thanking those who have put up with my sometimes stupid questions in Aces High. I have entered your world from Air Warrior,and have found help and support from all AH vets THANKS

same here! I was worried by some of the post in here when we moved over from AW. Much to my suprise, the folks of AH are very nice and willing to help us newbies out!

Glad you are finding your fee.... er, wings OK in AH. I know I'm not exactly an AH vet, but I have been playing here, as well as in AW, for over 8 months now, so have a little bit more experience and will always try to help newer players than myself.

Don't worry about asking questions, it's the best way to learn - RTFM is OK, but you can't beat practical experience and the information is absorbed better (well, in most cases! <g> ). If you film at the same time, you can always refer back to what was said by viewing them to refresh your memory.

Welcome to Aces High, and I hope you get to enjoy the game, maybe as much as we all enjoyed Air Warrior.

IMO RTFM only really applies to the kind of question like: "How do you fly?" etc.

As long as you have the basics (like starting engine, pushing the stick to move control surfaces, etc) I think most people in here are willing to provide info.

I certainly am... although I pitty the pilot that wants ME to teach them something..
oh wait.. I can teach them how to get shot down! I do that very well.. get shot down taht is.
