Well I finally cracked and went over the line.

Wafflesounds 3.1 is here, as well as a new website which will allow me to easily change files and allow folks to easily download individual fixes instead of large downloads.

I've also went to the ZIP format for folks that don't have other compression utilities.

The Major change in 3.1 was going for the historical accuracy of Rate of fire in the guns of the Aces High aircraft and GVs.

Now all guns fire at their correct rate of fire. And pretty much all of the planes got new reworked gun sounds.

Take for example the many different guns involved with the German planes.

Mg15,
Mg17,
MG/FF 20mm
MG 151 20mm
MG 131 13mm
MG 81 7.92mm
Mk108 30mm cannon

all of these are emulated with correct rates of fire and different tonalites - be it if they were an mg151 nose mounted as to a MG151 that was mounted on a pod.

The data that I used is on the webpage so check it out.

Also take a gander at the the Russian 7.62 ShKAS that was on the il-2..fires at 1800 rounds per minute

Your site is messed up. Do we need to download 3.1 to get the new LW and IL2 sounds or do we donwload each plane set one at a time?

Yeah, it is a tad Mozilla unfriendly. Works in IE (shudder).

I'm going to post the whole 3.1 version by tomorrow - which will contain all of the individual files that you can download now, just in one pack.

So now, when I change stuff, you can just download the changed planes by individual folders.

Unfortuneatly -I am not a web guru, so that's all I got

least you can see the links, I hope...lol

Newb = frontpage lucell..lol

I was looking into other options, but right now my learning curve is at pretty steep angles in HTML design. I like the look of Dokgonzos site - which uses LDU 7.something, but have no clue how to use even approach setting something like that up.

Waffle, you will want to take a look at the links for the 110G2 (it brings up the 109G2) the Spit XIV (brings up the HTC specs page) and the yak9T (it's a .rar file).

nice to see a little over 250 hits while I was gone for the weekend...lmao - tried to tidy the place up some since there's company coming...

Outstanding Waffle, Now us that are stuck with dial-up connect can download without getting disconnected.
Tell me Waffle, Whats in this for you? Is this just a hobby for ya and you just like it? Because I can only Imagine the time & effort you have put into this.
