You folks that like to turn and burn on-line may want to check out my latest article at SimHQ. In it, I suggest tips and techniques for how to manage a formation given the limitations of our simulations. You can find it here:

In this article, you can find info about formation types, spacing, and maneuvers...as well as tips on how to hold the proper position, get back into the proper position, and provide good lookout coverage.
