Though we had a mixed service back then. Not saying that we weren't prejudiced but Black guys flew in the same aircraft as white guys in the RAF.

LOL!

I can see this thread getting hijacked back into how well England treated blacks when they imported them into the Colonies or simply conquered and ruled WOG nations. Or how well the Canadians treated (still treat?) Native North Americans.

But to the Tuskeegee airman and all the rest who served, of every race, creed or color.

I've had the pleasure of meeting and talking with about 5-6 Tuskeegee Airmen. Great times.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

False.
At least read the article before replying.

To the military, the program at first was simply "an experiment to prove the Negro could not fly and fight," said Herbert Carter, of Tuskegee, who went on to a 25-year career in the military.
