History spells out clearly the ebb and flow of debt and it's recovery in the US.
SS will survive because spending will come back in line....the surplus so many are fond of speaking to on this board was born out of playing games with a so called SS lockbox which seemed to have been left unlocked.
Bottom line....the US and her citizenship will endeavor to persevere....in other words, we'll fix it even if it hurts to do so. To take the extreme view and say the sky is falling is kinda silly, don't ya think?
