New Acceleration Results for AHII
« Reply #15 on: November 07, 2004, 08:39:25 PM »
I retested several aircraft after I compiled my results to make sure I didn't miss anything. Those were:
Me-262, Me-163, SeaFireII, SpitFireV, Yak-9U, F4U-4, P-40B, Hurricanes, and Bf-110's.

Other notables...
- All Hurricanes are notablably slower
- The P40B was over 10 seconds faster than AHI in it's acceleration test
- The SeaFire and SpitFireMk V barely registered a time change, yet their ranks increased.
- The Me-163 was almost 50% slower
- The Me 262 is 33.7% slower than AHI

What does all this data mean?
- The flight model in AHII has drastically changed from AHI making most flight models acclerate slower than AHI.
- The only aircraft to change spots and who's time didn't change a whole lot were the SeaFireII, SpitFire V, and the Yak-9U.  I'm not sure if their engine torque was increased, but of all the aircraft tested, these three stand out.
- The F4U-4 was over 3 seconds slower. It too has stood out from the data normalization.
