I could care less if he is getting perks and killing himself. I take exception to dual accounts because of spy activity. And your right elfie by not taking action it seems to me HTC is encouraging this kind of activity.

I flew a goon an hour once all the way across about 4 sectors in prep for a NOE mission Only to have Mullah come vulch me out of nowhere. I almost cancelled my account when I was told he was a 2 account dweeb. I wonder if anyone has cancelled their accounts because of something similar. Maybe thats the only way for HTC to pay attention.

Only one minor problem with that theory.

Contest ended well over a year ago LOL

This thread is pure comedy.  I love seeing the score potatos whine.  This is no different than vulching, bombing unguarded factories, spawn camping, etc.  Thanks for the laugh guys!

The guy got 423 kills, and a 105.75-to-1 kill ratio, in 8.5 hours by killing his own targets.  Makes vultures, milk runners and spawn campers look like heroic martyrs.

It can't be prevented. Whether it's two accounts, a couple squaddies working together, or players destroying unprotected stuff, there are going to be players padding their scores. I don't know if there's a game on the internet that doesn't have the same problem. The only logical result is for players to take all scores and ranks with a grain of salt. Use relative scores to judge personal performance or comparison between trustworthy players. In the end, if you come out on top in a battle, even if you didn't kill your opponent, you know you're the victor. Scores are secondary.

Imagine a player with two accounts spending the entire afternoon killing his other icon over and over and over again. Who's the loser? Laugh and move on.

On the problem of some players repeatedly killing their second account to pad score....

On the problem of PT boat respawns 20 times to launch torpedo salvos...

On the problem of continuos suicide dweebs...

On the problem of no reward for sucessful defense...

My answer is local pilot attrition.

I proposed this idea before, it seems to me a lot of things get solved if the penalty for a death is that you cannot use the same field again until you've died twice more elsewhere. This doesn't stop anyone from flying, it doesn't limit what you plane can use. It doesn't encourage  hordes by making the field harder, requiring more folks just to succeed. You that have died just have to fly elsewhere for a while because you've died and can no longer contribute as a vulch target or  the never ending horde stream.
Take that second account elsewhere, while you fly your score plane over.

more details on the idea at:

what I ment was if  the thought was that someone was currently using a dual account to win the prize they were about a year and a half too late.

Guess I just took the post wrong.
Been doing that lately it seems LOL
