As many of us know, the A20-G had a single .50 cal ventral tunnel gun, handy for repelling those low 6 attacks. The folks at Hitech have stated in another thread that they would add this gun, if they could just get pics of the lower position, for adding the plane art.
There's an A-20G in the USAF museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton Ohio. Can we get a dedicated buffer or other plane maven to head over there with a digital camera and take pics of that lower position? Perhaps the management would allow access to the interior of the plane if informed that its in the interest of historical accuracy. Anyway, a good excuse for an aviation oriented road trip.

Edit: A 3/4 aft view of the A20 doesnt seem to show the tunnel position, unless its way recessed:

The specs quoted do show the ventral .50 listed tho (for the A-20G -20 to -45, the first model with the electrically driven dorsal turret and the underwing hardpoints for the additional 4 x500lb eggs (hence, the model that we fly in AH2) -

In any case, interiors of the museum's aircraft are not accessible for research in order to preserve the aircraft for the longest possible time. I'll be looking thru their extensive photo archives in hopes of getting lucky. But if someone lives near W-P they might take a gander at this bird and report back.
