I downloaded the new patch and the game worked better than ever no freezes or problems of any kind for about 30 minutes than the game froze up and listed that error in the subject line

internal 64 meg via/s3g uni chrome igp
hp system 2.20 amd athlon, 512 mb

Quite frankly, I am surprised the S3 chip works at all.

The error you are getting is basically saying the video chip has stopped responding to graphics commands. Have you checked for updated drivers?

it worked perfect till it froze up, better than my other computer with a g force 2 64 mb, it freezes up out of the tower on that system, i'll check for updates, thx

Ok, that is even odder. Did you try power-cycling the computer?

I don't know what that is, I have been fighting this game for around three months never had it work as well as it did today with the new patch. I know a little about computers but not near as much as others that write in, you helped me with my other computer but we never solved the freezing up problems, downloaded all the new updates today on that computer and got the same results as before. today the new computer gave me some hope, thx for the help
