Ronni: Suggestion for plane data pages
« on: February 03, 2000, 11:08:00 AM »
Hiya!!

Hey.. here's something that popped up last night..

When an AC recieves damage; some items are time factored; such as radiator damage and engine oil.

Do all the AC have the same amount of time on engine run after recieving oil system damage?/ If so; how long? Can it be extended by reducing RPM?

Same for radiator damage.. (planes so equipped)

And whatta about the pilot?? When he is wounded; any time or AC performance restraints??

Next; AC turn performance tables would be nice... what we're all looking for is the 'corner speed' for the various AC types at weight and altitudes.. tall order; hunh??

Thanks Ronni!! The help and info pages are lookin pretty good!

A small issue: Could the speed and climb charts be turned through 90º please? Such that the x-axis is Speed/RoC, and the y-axis is Altitude. I believe that's the norm for those types of charts.

Perhaps the wingloading and powerloading could be listed in the data too, as rough indicators of turning ability and acceleration?

I like the comments from the pilots at the top, that's a nice touch.
