PS the human brain does the same with sound btw. What sounds like an endless stream of gibberesh one minute turns into a clear question once you understand where its coming from & what its about.

I read that only slightly slower than if it were written correctly. That is odd.

Actually this is how speed reading is done. You quickly roll over each sentence forward or backwards and just as the paragraph above makes sense so does what you read.
