Don't miss this WW1 movie: "The Lost Battalion"

This was on TV the other night, EXCELLENT WW1 flick about a real life battalion that found itself between a rock and a hard place against the Germans.  The battalion was primarly  made up of street-hardened, New York Bowery-type boys, real tough nuts.

I rank it up there with Saving Private Ryan.

It was on the History Channel a few weeks ago. It's OK, but no SPR by a longshot.

I'd like to see a film on the other "Lost Battalion" from WW2. We have a monument at our county courthouse honoring them. They were part of the Bataan Death March.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Err, I wouldn't rank it up there with saving private ryan.  SPR is a joke.  Each time I watch it, it becomes funnier and funnier it's rediculousness and how bad it is.

But anyway, this movie is really good.

Great movie. But who would think Rick Schroder would be a good fit for this movie? He does a nice job though.

Lot of good .45 action in this movie also. :D

It was actually two batallions who were 'lost' behind enemy lines , for some reason history bundled both of them into one.
