rpm... how do you know that I haven't been on the wrong side of medical malpractice?   I was three years with a botched leg reatachment of a leg.

That is not the point in any case.

The point is, what is the solution?   If you are happy with high medical costs then we need to keep the system we have... If you are not happy with healthcare in the U.S. you need to realize or, admit that socialized medicine would not work here either without tort reform...  Compared to other countries our settlements are completely out of control.

I am asking.... what would this womans family expect to get under the socialized medicine systems of other countries and How much do you feel the accident victim (or victims family) should be compensated?
