Curious to Basic Joystick Recommendations for an intermediate PC User. I have CH Setup myself but it's too complicated for my friend. Prior to the CH purchase I had a MS Sidewinder. I know they don't make them anymore so I'm up for suggestions.

the x45 / x52 is a great stick... though you need to program it almost as diffucultly as the CH setup.

Have him get the CH 586 stick (same as fighter stick but fewer hats) and the pro rudder pedals. There is a throttle wheel on the stick so he will have a simple but very reliable set up.
