Whatever you choose, the worst program or HD providers out there are Dish network and DirecTV. Both horribly overcompress the signals, especially the HD stuff. Its better viewed on tv's like 26 inches, but for them large HD tv's or projection tv's, your better off using a C-band (yes theyre actually still around) satellite setup. I have one and my sub is $31 a month, and I have well over 600 channels to watch and plus the free in the clear downlinks that major headends send to affiliate stations (IE wach enterprise 2 days before it is nationally aired). Pretty neat, but the digital equipment is average $150-$200. But it is well worth it.
