Night-fighter version. Re-engined C-6b with two 1,600 hp BMW 801MA or 801C engines and FuG 212 Lichenstein C-1 radar. Three MG 17 and one 20 mm MG 151/20 in nose plus two MG FF in ventral gondola.

notice the logo under the engine? :)

glasses was convinced all Ju88's used Junkers engines, i was sure i had seen BMW logo underneath.  The later versions it seems used the BMW engines.

Now just where in the heck is the Radar antennea?  Lichtenstein radar antenneas were always mounted in the nose.

must have been removed in that picture for whatever reason.  they are back on now, looks a mean mofo.

The antennae were removable, but you can see the mounts in the original picture.  Maybe for security?  Maybe for adjustments?  Who knows?
