P-39 cockpit.  Guessing by seeing the P39 in the distance upper left corner of the picture.

A yoke for flight control and the window braces on the left window suggest a P38 Lightning.  I say P38 Lightning.

P-38. The window on the left side and the yoke are a dead giveaway. :)

What about the two of everything on the throttle quadrant?  Obviously a twin engine of some type - looks like the p-38 cockpit, but what about the large black knob with the arrow on it, and the big box with switches on the yoke?  Never seen that before.   Perhaps some type of remote control, experimental P-38????
