I'm currently spending the Holidays in Florida with relatives.  They have Bell South DSL and the service they get is sporatic with interruptions here and there.  The PC seems to be running fine - curious if anyone else has experienced the same problem down in the Sunshine State?

I'm in Pensacola and I have had Bellsouth DSL since January. I have only had 3 days with no service in that time and that was the first three days after hurricane Ivan. Other than that mine has been rock solid.

CC- My parents have an relatively old PC - 4 years old - Pent 700 operating Windows 98, etc.  I'm getting them a new PC for XMas so hopefully new hardware will fix the bugs.  Thanks for the reply GRITS.

I had DSL till the end of last year through Bellsouth. For three years it was better than 90% of the cable connections I had seen here in Birmingham. However for about 4-5 months it consistently crapped out 3-5 days a week. Bellsouth had no answer for the problem and never attempted to come out to fix the problem...as a result they are now on the sidelines and Charter has my internet service with their cable modem.
