Cold Temps here in Nevada.

One of the sliding windows on the rear window of my 84 Toyota truck shattered outward and into the pickup bed.

Started warming up the 82.

How cold is record cold in Nevada?
I take it to be shattering glass, it's slightly chilly?

At least it actually gets below 90 in Nevada. The last time I was there was in 1997, and it was a steady 102 in the day. Vegas sucks when it's hot enough to cook food on the street.

Are you shure someone wasnt shooting at you?
I have been in pretty cold weather...like minus 40 + windchill...never seen a window blow.

Think the record was 8 degrees F prior to this. It reached 4 at 6 am.

I have seen vehicles in this area with the sliding windows broken before. I thought someone had tried to break into em. Now I think differently.

The glass had all fallen outward and into the pickup bed.

I had just driven it and ran the heater/defroster. Parked it and when I came out the next morning.

Thinking it's a temp. and dryness v dampness issue.

This area is about 60 miles east of Reno Nevada.

Winds here sometimes get pretty high. Reports are it can gust up to 70 mph in this area.
