Funny thing is, I really didn't remember ever facing you so I checked the stats.  In the year or so I've been playing, I got 2 kills on you (both proxies, most likely) and you didn't get any kills on me.

At any rate, I never meant to insinuate that you were a timid pilot, I was simply making a joke based on your well known reputation for flying like a cosmonaut.
I apologize if I offended you, that was not my intent.

I haven't completely quit, just don't play as much anymore.  Game has kind of lost its fun lately.  Don't play EQ, having a blast zooming around space blowing up Imperials and pirates in my Y-Wing Longprobe.

A year or so ago, maybe a little more, Rooks were mainly composed of "fighter pilots". I mean there was base taking goin on there but the vast majority IMHO of players were fighter jocks. It was alot of fun. Somewhere along the line, that changed. I think when they started getting numbers back.

Then the guys who liked the fights saw that the rooks were getting numbers again so they went to the country with the lesser numbers. Basicly, as you know, its just a cycle.

Although now its a cycle that involves mostly new players who think killing buildings is the only part of the game.
Ah yes, the voice of the masses who think that the community is polarised into two camps - fighters, and toolshed killers. Black, or White. Nothing else. It never occurs to some people that there are shades of grey in between.

It is true, that planes like the F4U/F6F/P47/P38 carry bombs and rockets and can be used for levelling tool sheds. Pssst - they have guns as well.

Dunno why but as a Knight I find myself fighting Bishops 90% of the times.

Each country, depending on time of the day or week/month, has great fighters, buffs and mission leaders. Every other consideration involves some big amount of generalization.

Changing country? Proud to be a Knight since 1999 :)

Only order I can see flying as any country is dis-order.

I have never seen rooks behaving like that?

Before I joined a squad I pulled up the roster each day as I logged in and went to the side with the least numbers. I could never remember which side I was one back then they all seemed either green or red.

Now that I am in a squad, I fly rooks, but I never pay any attention to who I am fighting, Bish and Knights look the same to me. Most of the time I have to look at the map and see "Oh, we are fighing the Bish/Knights today".

I think those that say there is a difference, see what they want to see, they all look the same to me.

Stealing Shane's lame bellybutton quotes should get you banned.   Hmm, I bus when one is needed, scrap VH's when needed, get in my Ostie O' Death when needed, but I'm timid?   You have no idea how Rooks do NOT like gooning, BUT I enjoy making "sloppy" cons miss and auger trying to get my goon.

Ack-Ack, a question.  Why is it Knights and Bish piss and moan about the "side changing" issue more than Rookland?   You are to chicken**** to switch yourself?  I'd venture to say you ARE.   I play this game now for the comraderie than for landing kills.

Started out as a Rook, couldn't find to many good fights 'cause there were just, well, to many of you very organized pilots.

Move to Bish and have found some good fights. We get swarmed over a lot and there's not a whole lot of cooperative team work but it is fun trying to hold off the Rook/Nite hords.

Considering a few weeks as a Nite.

Awwwwww!!! I was looking forward to your response all day, and is this all I get? ;) Troll? Not really. Just setting the record straight! Lots of people prepare a base for capture, but that's not all they do.

Morph, if you and I are both now sitting on the sidelines, we should try to be nice to each other.

So come here and give us a kiss, ya big softie.

It is funny to hear bish or knits whine about the ENY thing... guess they shoulda recognized it wasn't going to be some anti-rook only fix to the numbers "problem."
