All ack should kill friendlies as well as enemies. Period. If a dweeb wants to blast into a furball he should be killing everything, not just enemies. Imagine if he started wasting friendlies... he'd be PNG in two secs. AI puffy ack should not be able to fire at you if there are friendlies in the vicinity either, just as in RL.

IRL, friendlies were often told to remain outside AA range, eg. the coastal AA belts using prox fuses against V-1's. "Diver" Tempests, P-47's, Spits etc were to remain outside the specified areas/alts at their own peril.

Keep clear of ack and you've got no problems...play in it and get swatted...tough ****

sitting in those things blowing up guys who are dogfighting is definitely lame. it's a toss-up between that and spawn-camping in GV's, to be the lamest part of the game.

But as well all know, it takes all kinds.

My style is that I am a fighter pilot, I consider all other planes to be targets. I fly a 190A8. I fly high, fast, and attack only when I have the advantage. Or even better, perk them with 200 Gv points, if gun or ship is destroyed, bye bye to the perks. We have a perked Tiger and an unperked CV, it is not fair at all.
